6 Ways To Visit Gran Canaria Without Getting Off The Sofa

The best online Gran Canaria resources The best online Gran Canaria resources

Wondering if Gran Canaria is the island for you, or just missing the place and needing a bit of a sunshine fix before your next visit? Here are six ways to visit Gran Canaria online, all with great photos and videos of the island as well as useful information.

360º virtual tour

The Canary Islands Tourist Board has a fantastic 360º virtual tour of Gran Canaria (and the other Canary Islands) that lets you soar over the island's top highlights. It includes the Maspalomas dunes, Roque Nublo, the Bandama Caldera, Puerto de Mogán and Las Canteras beach. The footage is stunning and you can zoom in and move around each place. This is like Google Maps but in high definition and well worth playing around with.

Photos Gran Canaria

Our collection of over 5000 top quality Gran Canaria photos, all keyworded and ready to look through. Just search for the place you want to see and all the photos we've taken will come up. For example, here are 450 photos of Puerto de Mogán to keep you happy until you next walk under the bougainvillea arches.

The Gran Canaria tourist board website has a great selection of island highlights and routes to explore. We like the way they've divided the island into zones so that you can plan your day. We also love their guide to the best viewpoints in Gran Canaria.

Gran Canaria Info

You're already here but don't forget to have a good look round. Gran Canaria Info has been online since 1998 and is by far the best known and trusted source of information about the island. Don't miss our guide to Gran Canaria's best beaches and towns, and our weather section with a monthly guide to Gran Canaria's weather.

About Gran Canaria

The best Facebook page about Gran Canaria with daily photos, news and useful tips for getting the most out of your time on the island. Ask us anything you want about Gran Canaria and we'll and we'll answer and if you have a photo you want to share, we'll put it up.

Cardenas Webcam

This is just the most useful webcam in south Gran Canaria because it moves back and forth and shows you the weather from Puerto Rico to Maspalomas. On those occasional cloudy days it's good to get up and know which way to head for the sunshine.
